Scope of the Role

Tait has a special group of reseller customers called Tait Channel Partners, who resell our products into Public Safety, Utilities, Transport and tertiary markets. Tait Channel Partners are chosen for their relevance to our target markets, for the professional way they go about business and for the quality of relationship we enjoy with them.

The Channel Sales role is responsible for sales revenue and customer satisfaction with our partners. The role engages closely with the channel partners, understanding their goals, being active in supporting their sales opportunities, and also organises other Tait resources to build stronger and more valuable business relationships between Tait and them.

The appointment of a distributor to resell Tait products narrowed the sales focus of Tait sales people, to include a Channel Management function. The Channel Sales Manager creates a sales plan for the indirect channel, develops the individual Account Plans and has an active role in the execution of the plan.

This is a pro-active selling role, with a sales target for the indirect sales channel.
